This release introduces several key updates to the Sharpfin Wealth Management Suite, aimed at enhancing performance management, portfolio creation, and reporting functionalities. Notable improvements include the ability to drill down into single securities for detailed performance analysis, more efficient discretionary model management, enhanced transaction reporting in compliance with MiFID II, and expanded functionality for managing client relations and Fondo portfolios. These upgrades reflect our commitment to continuous improvement, with weekly updates designed to reduce downtime, streamline operations, and lower IT costs for your organisation.

Learn about the latest improvement highlights:

1.
Performance contribution from single holdings

As of now, our brand new Performance Management module features drill down of single securities. This way you can drill down in the allocation to see for example which of your equity holdings that contributed most or least to your equity performance.

Our developers have done a fantastic job in providing this functionality with speed and accuracy that very few (if any) of our competitors can match.

Use focus on each classification to see your specific securities' contribution to your portfolio performance. You find the focus functionality at the right hand side, by contribution.

2. Discretionary models creation and maintenance

We have realised that the navigation for creating static data around model portfolios and the actual allocation are very tightly coupled and have therefore decided to discontinue the creation of models under Reference Data.

You can now instead create and fill your model portfolios under Wealth Management -> Models. We also added the feature to clone models here which copies an existing model and its relation to underlying models or instruments.

This will save a lot of time when creating model portfolios which are similar but deviates slightly.

3. Enhancement of TRS2 reports

Our transaction reporting according to MiFID II, the so called TRS2 reporting has been extended to create one file per day. For block orders this report contains both the allocation between the wealth manager and the broker as well as one transaction element for each of the allocations in the block order.

In order to use the TRS2 reporting you need to provide us with your own LEI code and make sure that your brokers in Sharpfin has the correct LEI code as well as all your legal clients. Your private clients need a National ID to be set in the system. This is typically the personal number in Sweden for example.

4. Setting advisor on client relation processes

Previously the logged in user was automatically set as Advisor on a Client Relations process (e.g. a KYC). We have now extended the functionality to be able to create processes on other advisors or users behalf.

This is a great functionality for example when your team has a partial vacation or if you want to outsource certain workflows on admin personnel.

5.
Extension of functionality for Fondo portfolios

While we are constantly enhancing the functionality for clients running Fondo custody we have this time released the possibility to delete pending fund orders on Fond through the Sharpfin interface.

Due to the extensive API-features of Fondo and their speed of development we will constantly onboard new features.

This is one of the main reasons (in addition to lower costs) for choosing Fondo as custody for your fund portfolios.
