We are excited to introduce a range of enhancements developed to significantly improve your experience with Sharpfin Wealth Management Suite.

Number of improvement highlights:5

Since release notes #9/24 we have deployed 5 upgrades of Sharpfin Wealth Management Suite (SWMS), and the main new features and improvements are listed below. Highlights include an upgraded Client Portal with enhanced fund trading capabilities, new functionality for adding custom contact details in Client Relations, and the ability to clone discretionary portfolio models.

Read on to discover how these improvements can help your daily operations.

1. Enhancement of fund information

For our clients which have fund trading through Fondo we have significantly enhanced the fund information. You can now see historic performance on funds along with ex-ante cost information. It is also possible to allow your clients to trade funds themselves through the portal.

Affected module: Client Portal

2. Override mail address and telephone number on relations

A common use case is that there might be a client in the system who are in the board of several trusts or companies and want the correspondence (e.g. KYC documentation, agreements etc.) to different mail addresses depending on behalf which organisation they act. This was previously not possible but we have now extended Sharpfin to feature this possibility.

Affected modules: Client Relations

3. Country dependent company registration and personal numbers

Previously the format of the personal number or company registration numbers was dependent on country or citizenship. We found this not to be granular enough since a person which is citizen in one country could have personal number from another (e.g. a Swiss citizen with Swedish personal number). We have now added another country property and tagged that to the client identifier and also made the user experience more appealing.

Affected modules: Client Relations

4. Setting advisor on client relation processes

Previously the logged in user was automatically set as Advisor on a Client Relations process (e.g. a KYC). We have now extended the functionality to be able to create processes on other advisors or users behalf. This is a great functionality for example when your team has a partial vacation or if you want to outsource certain workflows on admin personnel.

Affected modules: Client Relations

5. Cloning of models now possible

If you search the wealth management models you can now click [...] -> Clone to make a copy of the model and its corresponding relations to sub models. This significantly enhances the speed of setting up many similar models. Note that the functionality only clone the relations to sub models, not the sub models themselves.

Affected modules: Wealth Management
