You might have observed upon logging in on Tuesday morning that the Sharpfin Dashboard view has been updated.

We are excited to introduce a range of enhancements and new features designed to significantly improve your bookkeeping, reporting and overall wealth management experience of SWMS.

Sharpfin now features a bookkeeping module where you can enter general ledgers at your discretion and have the system learn how to bookkeep the client transactions on the correct general ledger accounts. This among other updates have been developed to enhance your wealth management experience.

Improvement highlights

1. Intelligent Bookkeeping:

Sharpfin now features a bookkeeping module where you can enter general ledgers at your discretion and have the system learn how to bookkeep the client transactions on the correct general ledger accounts.

You can enter any number of different general ledgers and export the transactions to the Swedish bookkeeping standard SIE4.

Affected modules: Back Office

2.
 SWMS Dashboard updates

To address the growing need for better management and compliance oversight, we've enhanced the Dashboard view with more information blocks, including an activity log.

Currently, this displays created portfolios and filled-in customer knowledge forms, but going forward, we will also show other events there. Like the rest of the Dashboard, it is permission-controlled so that users only see information they have access to see.

As more information is shown on the front page, it pushes out the list of customers that used to be displayed there, and you can now find this list under "Wealth Management" as before, but with the addition that there is a tab that shows the overview of the customer (returns, customer card, and risk rules) instead of accessing this page via the dashboard as was the case before.

Affected modules: All of Sharpfin

3.  Calculate performance on your discretionary model portfolios

The first version of our new module Performance Management is out enabling the functionality to calculate performance on your discretionary model portfolios.

This is all done according to GIPS standard in the sense that it combines all underlying portfolios into a performance calculation representative for the model.

This is an excellent sales tool to push the performance of your discretionary portfolio management.

Affected modules: Reporting & Performance Management

4. A dynamic classification structure

For portfolios attached to discretionary models you can now see in Wealth Management (Sharpfin Core) a dynamic classification structure which mirrors the hierarchy of portfolio models in the model Portfolio Manager.

This way you can see which positions belong to which part of your sub models (e.g. Swedish Equity, Global Equity, Fixed Income).

Affected modules: Sharpfin Core
